Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time
Work Location: 1640 E. Kent Ave. S, Vancouver, BC V5P 2S7
Wage: $20.00/hr – $22.00/hr, depending on experience and based on 30-36 hrs/wk, with 4% paid vacation
Overtime: Overtime rate provided after 8 hrs/day or 40 hrs/wk
Education: Completion of Secondary School
Experience: At least 1-2 years of related work experience, or completion of a program in cooking, or related discipline
Language: English
Job duties:
– Cook and present high quality dishes.
– Prepare, grill, fry, sauté food as required.
– Assist the Chef.
– Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
– Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
– Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and sanitation standards.
– Assist with inventory management and record-keeping of food, supplies, and equipment if required.
– Train kitchen assistants when necessary.
