Job description:
Location: Mississauga, ON L5R 3E7/ Remote work available
Salary: $48.00 per hour for 35 hours per week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
Job Type: Permanent employment
Job Responsibilities:
- Modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
- Directing system testing and validation procedures.
- Directing software programming and documentation development.
- Discussing and understanding clients’ and/or users’ requirements.
- Researching and prototyping possible solutions.
- Writing and testing code.
- Applying project management methodologies.
- Collaborating with other developers and other professionals such as technical writers and graphic designers.
- Gather and evaluate user feedback
- Recommend and execute improvements
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
Eligibility Requirements:
- College level degree or diploma required
- A thorough understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and data structures
- The desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
- 2-3 years of experience working on a variety of software development projects.
