Job description:

Wage:  $29.95 hour (40 hours/week) + benefits as per Union collective agreement

 Location of Work:  Various locations across the Province of Ontario

Job Description:

• Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete
• Apply curing or surface treatments
• Install, maintain and restore various masonry structures such as foundations, floors, ceilings sidewalks, roads, patios and high-rise buildings
• Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
• Fill hollow and remove high spots to smooth freshly poured concrete
• Check form work, granular base and steel reinforcement material
• Direct placement of concrete into forms or surfaces
• level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification

Job Requirements:

• Some experience in construction/landscaping trade an asset
• Ability to follow instructions & be trained
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Capable of working in a fast-paced labour-intensive environment
• Physical strength & able to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs)
• Punctual and willingness to work long hours and Saturdays if required
