Position Description             

Position: Fence Installer

Type of employment: Full-Time, Permanent

No of positions: 2

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.

Work Location: Various locations in Lower Mainland & Fraser Valley, BC

Salary and Benefits 

Salary: $28.85 per hour

Job Responsibilities 

• Study blueprints and work order specifications to determine the layout and installation procedures for chain link fences, cedar fences, and metal fences.
• Measure and mark guidelines for fence installation, ensuring precise alignment and placement.
• Use power and hand tools to install, repair, and service fence types, including chain link, cedar, and metal.
• Install interior prefabricated products such as gates and gate hardware during fence installation, ensuring functionality and aesthetics.
• Install, repair, and replace prefabricated exterior fencing elements, such as gates, posts, panels, and decorative elements, using hand and power tools.
• Assist clients with fence selection, design, and installation by understanding their specific needs and preferences.
• Repair and replace fences as needed, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Perform maintenance checks on installed fences to identify and repair any wear or damage.
• Maintain excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and concerns professionally.
• Maintain safety protocols while working on fence installation and repair projects, prioritizing the well-being of all team members.
• Perform other job duties as required to complete the project.

Job Requirements 

• No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects.
• Excellent team player with good English communication skills.
• Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
