Salary: $27.50 to $30.50/hourly, depending on experience, minimum 40 hours per week with potential of overtime

Major Work Area: Repainting and New Construction Painting, Minor Drywall and Taping

Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Commercial, Residential, and Institutional.

Surface Preparation Experience: Drywall taping/patching, Sanding

Type of Equipment Experience: Brush painting, Roller painting, Spray guns and pressure washers

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills:

• Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted 
• Repair cracks and holes
• Mix paint to desired color and texture.
• Measure, cut wallpaper and other wall coverings
• Apply paint, stains, varnish, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers or spray equipment Assemble and erect scaffolding and swing stages

Additional Skills: Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination
