Job Description:
• Read blueprints, project plans, and specifications; determine material needs, estimate cost, and prioritize tasks to minimize production delays.
• Measure material using framing square, and measuring tape to lay work.
• Assemble and fasten material together to construct wood or metal framework of a structure, using bolts, nails, or screws.
• Cut, shape, and smooth the needed material according to measurements.
• Inspect and conduct repairs or maintenance of wooden structures in residential and non-residential areas.
• Build & install scaffolding, door trims, and other construction structures.
• Install cabinets, counter & moldings.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates for clients & installation.
