Job Description:
• Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers, mushrooms pickers and harvesting
labourers.
• Develop work schedules and establish procedures.
• Supervise and oversee growing, harvesting procedures and other crop related operations.
• Maintain quality control and production records.
• Train new employees and assist workers in their duties as needed.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are being always followed by workers.
• Oversee the overall handling of produce to ensure production meets the highest quality of standards
for the company.
• Assist in maintaining and cleaning mushroom growing rooms, irrigation, cultivation or harvesting.
• Supervise regularly cleaning and sanitizing equipment, tools, and work areas.
• Perform the examination of properly packed & sorted mushrooms in containers or crates according to
specific guidelines and industry standards.
• Supervise the signs of diseases that can affect mushroom crops for healthy crop growing.
• Other duties assigned by Farm Manager.
Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary school is required.
• 6 months to 1 year experience as a farmer.
