We are currently seeking to hire three (3) Full-Time Permanent Line Cooks for an important role within our establishment. We are looking for genuine, hardworking individuals who are able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment and work effectively as part of a team.
Position Details
Position: Line Cook
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 40 to 48 hours per week
Wage: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Overtime:
Overtime will be paid after 44 hours per week at 1.5 times the regular hourly wage.
Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
or
- Equivalent experience
Experience
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar restaurant setting

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate special events
- Determine the size of food portions and estimate food costs
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for implementation
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Prepare and cook special meals as instructed by the chef or dietitian
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and safe food handling procedures
- Order supplies and equipment
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Manage kitchen operations
