R&D Door’s and Moulding Ltd. is looking for two (2) Carpenters for their growing business, who could join immediately.

location: 15282 86 Ave Surrey, British Columbia V3S 4Z8
Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible
Compensation: $37.00 per hour
Work hours: 32 hours/week
Terms: Permanent full-time
Language of work: English
Job duties and responsibilities
- Measure and cut materials such as wood, drywall, and composite materials using saws, drills, and other equipment into the required sizes and shapes for construction.
- Read and accurately understand a construction project's architectural blueprints and plans.
- Restore and renovate older homes and make structural improvements to the buildings.
- Construct the core framework of buildings, including erecting walls, floors and roof structures by assembling and securing wood or metal studs and beams.
- Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware.
- Strictly follow all WorkSafe BC protocols and use personal protective equipment.
- Ensure all the equipment is in good working condition by maintaining and cleaning the tools.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure efficient and timely project completion.
• Education: Completion of Secondary School
• Work Experience:2-3 years of Experience
